On Friday 26th June, we held a picnic for our children and families to raise money for a charity that is very close to our hearts.
Currently, our Just Giving page has £948 in donations, and we have almost £400 cash donations from the picnic.

We are delighted to announce that Pearl Hyde Community Primary school has been awarded the Centre of Excellence award for Oracy.
As many of you will know, we have been working hard on our Oracy curriculum, empowering children through our Oracy slogan: "Our voice is our power, and we can change the world!"
We are excited to continue our Oracy journey working closely with the Voice 21 charity.
Thank you to all the staff and children who embraced Oracy and supported us in gaining this award, especially Mr Herdman, who leads on Oracy across the school.
