At the core of Pearl Hyde Primary School are our values. These values represent our expectations of behaviour and work, they support our children to be successful whilst at Pearl Hyde and beyond.
We believe these values underpin our school, each value should be observable in classrooms, corridors and in the playground forming our ethos. Children can earn rewards when they show our values, each value is discussed weekly with the children so it is clear what actions showcase our values. So what does each value mean to us?
Perseverance
We know that things aren’t always easy. We know that we need to be challenged, keep trying and get good at tricky things to better ourselves.
Excellence
We know that we need to complete tasks to the best of our ability. We strive for excellence in all that we do. We can show excellence through our behaviour and our work.
Acceptance
Our community is made up of a rich tapestry of different cultures and beliefs. At Pearl Hyde, we celebrate differences and accept others.
Respect
At Pearl Hyde, we are respectful in all circumstances. Our emotions do not need to dictate our behaviour. Everybody has the ability to respect others and everyone has the right to be respected.
Leadership
At Pearl Hyde, we believe we are all leaders of our own behaviour and learning journey. Children have many opportunities to lead in the classroom and beyond.
